The Fifth Year of Homecoming

Dear Our Father in heaven, thank You for taking care of our other little girl. We placed her in Your hand five years ago and You did the right thing even though You knew that we had to endure the pain of separation.

I wonder many times, how is she doing. But what makes me at ease when I think about her is: She is now in the hands of the Almighty God, strong hands but gentle enough to handle our little one. She is in the safest place where our heart is longing to go when this journey finally reaches to the finish line.

Dear our Father in heaven, thank You for Your presence through your Holy Spirit, when we had to go through the hardship. Thank You for sending us the right people to bring consolation in the grieving moment. You were so caring, and now we want to know You more and experience You even more in our daily living. We know, You will grant our request of experiencing You more.

Our Father in heaven, thank You for Your saying that You always wait for us in every place that we have to visit. There in our dating place with You, in every place where we can visit those who cannot even repay for what we have done to them. We remember Your saying and certainly You will keep Your promise to let Yourself to be found and known...just as You let Yourself to be found and known by our little one, Renske.

Our Father in heaven, though we haven't been there, we believe that heaven is so real and so are You. You are so very real even though we cannot see You with our physical eyes at this moment. Therefore, do not stop speaking to our heart because by listening to You, we can see You with our spiritual eyes. Real God like You can speak, can hear, can see, can feel. By Your Words, teach us and give us heart to honor You as long as we live until our last breath. In the name of Jesus we pray to God our Father in heaven. Amen.

Words of comfort come from:
Psalms 84:1-2
The Message (MSG)
1 A Korah psalm. What a beautiful home, God of the Angel Armies! I've always longed to live in a place like this,
Always dreamed of a room in your house, where I could sing for joy to God-alive!

I always like this song by David Phelps. This song tells us about being together with The Lord, forever and ever. "No More Night"...by David Phelps.

The timeless theme,
Earth and Heaven will pass away
It's not a dream,
God will make all things new that day
Gone is the curse from which I stumbled and fall
Evil is banished to eternal hell

No more night, no more pain
No more tears, never crying again
And praises to the great, "I AM"
We will live in the light of the risen Lamb

See all around, now the nations bow down to sing
The only sound is the praises to Christ, our King
Slowly the names from the book are read
I know the King, so there's no need to dread

No more night, no more pain
No more tears, never crying again
And praises to the great, "I AM"
We will live in the light of the risen Lamb!
